FAQs

How does the CO/NO2 detectors respond if carbon monoxide levels rise from idling buses or service vehicles in a transportation terminal?

When elevated levels of carbon monoxide (CO) or nitrogen dioxide (No2) are detected, the sensor communicates with the control panel to activate ventilation sequences and improve air quality.

Are AGS systems compatible with Building Management Systems in modern transportation hubs?

Yes, all of our products are compatible with BMS system. Either via Bacnet MS/TP, Modbus RTU, 0-10V, 4-20mA and relay outputs. Refer to datasheet for further information on specific product or contact AGS.

What happens to the gas supply if the gas detection or isolation system loses power during an emergency?

If the system is integrated with a gas supply, a power loss will cut power to the gas solenoid valve, de-energizing it and triggering a safety shut off that stops all gas flow to the area.
