FAQs

What gas hazards are present in these facilities?

There are many gas hazards present in a healthcare facility, from natural gas & carbon monoxide in boiler rooms, refrigerant gas leaks in chiller rooms, oxygen depeletion/enrichment in laboratories and hydrogen leak detection in battery rooms. AGS have solutions ideal for these applications.

Can AGS systems integrate with fire alarms or building automation systems?

Yes, any of our control panels can be easily integrated with a fire alarm system, allowing utilities to be shut down automatically in the event of an emergency to help prevent escalation of a hazard. All panels are equipped to communicate gas status, whether it’s on or off, or relay high gas level alerts to a Building Management System (BMS).

How can I integrate water leak solutions into a hospital design?

We offer a range of water leak detection solutions, including zonal water leak detection with location monitoring, sensor pucks for single-point applications near toilets, sinks, or other critical areas and smaller cable leak detection for water heaters and FCU. For simple relay-based communication of a potential leak, the WL-100 is our recommended solution.
