Carbon Monoxide & Nitrogen Dioxide detection and ventilation control systems are required in the above enclosed garages to meet IMC 2021 404.1.
These gases are produced from the incomplete combustion within vehicles and must be ventilated if code required levels of either gas are detected.
In addition to meeting code, adding a gas detection & ventilation control system in these spaces provide energy savings by regulating the ventilation within the space dependent on the live gas levels.
Please contact American Gas Safety or your local representative for further information.
