The Mini Merlin on This Old House?
The Mini Merlin was protecting a brand new build on the latest episode. With many of us here at AGS being long time fans of the show, this was amazing to see!
The Mini Merlin is a plug & play dual gas sensor carefully designed and tested to monitor Natural Gas – Methane (CH4) and Carbon Monoxide (CO) in the air. If there is a dangerous build-up of gas or unsafe levels of carbon monoxide at the sensor, this device can shut off the gas supply via a gas safety valve and/or a gas fire appliance. This device has additional features for resetting systems, as well as audible and visual alarms – it can also be integrated with a Building Management System (BMS).
In Texas, Florida & Georgia, a carbon monoxide detector is required with all new & refurbished boiler(s) installations to automatically shutdown the boiler(s) in the event of high CO levels. For further information on the Mini Merlin & code requirements CLICK HERE
